........the great outdoors and the great inner heart........

the fields and the woods were important to me, as i loved the spirit and feel of the great outdoors...
well, it was only natural if i ever should see any show, a western it'd be, as i sat on the floors...

that's when i first saw and took notice of this man...
didn't know his name, but he sure was just grand...

when i first saw him and his work, he was cuffed to a tree...
digging loose from it, and laying it down, he set himself free...

didn't know who he was, or why he showed such earnest...
but from his special ways, i just knew he had tried his dernest...

something was wrong, and he needed to right it...
never got to see the rest, as to how it ended, but never forgot him, not even a bit...

saw him another time just by accident, and this show i knew...
it was wagon train, and there was he was again, and i sure wasn't blue...

by then i had seen just a few bits of a few more laramie's and loved it so, and by now i knew his name...
had matched it to jess harper, and cooper smith, he was ROBERT FULLER, the best cowboy AND actor in life's game...

what i saw "in and from" his face and in his "manner of moves" that he presented, was the only one ever to match what i knew...
a feeling deep inside that comes only as you live, and shows the right way to take hold of life and handle things as you get through...

a spiritual comradery with any one, i just never saw or knew, truly not from any other...
yet he was in my field of stomping grounds, just as a truly knit and cherished brother...

his emotions and feelings...
attached to life's dealings...

whether in acting...
or true life living...

will always leave an honored lasting mark...
they manifested in his powerful unique work, that i saw from him, right from the start...

there is so much more that could be told...
but they are special treasure, for only me to hold...

but i can tell how he touched my heart, and that i always held him near...
and when i finally got to meet him, he lined up just fine in truth, and i knew he'd still stay forever dear...

it was a miracle to meet him, and mighty challenge for my pocket to expel, as many did hear tell!...
but i was very very grateful to the GOOD LORD above THAT I REALLY GOT TO SEE, that now after years of praying, that ROBERT FULLER was alive and well, and hey there, YES, JUST SWELL!...
