Robert calls Peter "Chef Boyardee" because when they go to a festival, Peter sets up a wine and cheese party in his room about an hour after arrival.

Robert met his good friend Peter Brown through Chuck Courtney, because Chuck had a ski boat and Peter loved to ski, so they would go out and spend the day on the boat. (Sandra M)

We had the pleasure of meeting some members of Bob's fan club in Kanab, UT at the Western Legends Roundup in 2002 and you may quote us from this e-mail if you would like.

Yes, we confirm that Wade is a descendant of Jess. Had the recurring role gone on so far as for Wade to discuss his famous ancestor in an episode, we don't know what kind of copyright and licensing agreements would have been involved, but it certainly has been fun to ponder the possibilities.

Bob took the role of Wade Harper far above our highest visions for the character, as we knew this talented and gracious man would. We feel privileged indeed to have been allowed to write for him.
